Performance Series
A theatrical, approximately 20-minute performance combining live painting, short films, music, and storytelling with regularly rotating themes, offering a rare, up-close encounter with the artist at work. Each performance invites audiences into Photopoulos’ mythopoetic world, where art, memory, and storytelling converge in a uniquely immersive experience. Reservations are required. Performances will take place on Tuesdays (Oct 13, 20, 27, Nov 3) and Saturdays (Oct 10, 17, 24).

Masterclass: Tea & Technique
Spend an afternoon with award winning artist Evi Photopoulos. Each Wednesday, the Roots and Wings Masterclass invites guests into her living art studio at Waldorf Astoria New York for an interactive, hands-on experience inspired by memory, instinct and personal expression. Guided by the artist, participants will create an original work of art to take home. Following the masterclass, guests will enjoy a Japanese-inspired Afternoon Tea at Yoshoku, one of the hotel’s signature dining experiences. Tickets are $345 per person.
Daily | 3PM – 5PM | Live Painting | October 6 – November 7
An Evolving Gallery
A curated installation of 27 works displayed throughout Peacock Alley Corridor, transforming the hotel’s most storied promenade into an evolving gallery, spanning monumental canvases in oil and precious metals to delicate ink drawings. Live painting sessions bring the exhibition to life, offering guests a chance to watch artists create new works in real time. Guests are invited to stop by Peacock Alley Corridor, explore the exhibition and experience the creative process as it unfolds from Oct 6 – Nov 7.
The Artist Collection
A limited-edition collection of silk scarves, pocket squares and ties created by Photopoulos, inspired by the ancient Bee-Goddess of Eleutherna—a golden jewel unearthed from the soil of Crete whose form, when reversed, transforms into a lily. Each piece reimagines the artist’s canvases in silk and gold. Available exclusively for purchase on property.
